Lloryn Hubbard is a clinical research strategist with over 15 years of experience ensuring that the patients most impacted by disease are meaningfully represented in the research designed to treat them. As Director of Clinical Trial Diversity and Community Engagement at Daiichi Sankyo, she works at the intersection of science, community, and equity, embedding patient voice into oncology trials and developing strategies that make clinical research accessible to all. Previously, she served as Head of Patient Diversity at PPD, a part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, and has contributed her expertise at organizations including Genentech and PATH.

Her work is grounded in strategy development, clinical operations, project management, and community engagement, with a consistent focus on translating complex challenges into actionable solutions. In 2024, she was honored as Clinical Trial Visionary of the Year by DTC Perspectives for her work advancing diversity in research.

Lloryn’s passion for patients and STEM is what drives her, and she brings that same energy to expanding access and opportunity for the next generation of scientists. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Cultural Anthropology from Seattle University.
